She doesn't associate with those she deems mean-spirited. Her exacting judgment has led her to join the [[Dragonchess Club]], while her elegance and grace has benefited her in the [[Silkball]] arena. As an astute bibliophile, she can be found buried in one of the many books in the [[Strixhaven Biblioplex]]. Her love for books and spellwork made the study of scrivening an obvious choice for her academic focus. In [[Year Two]] Tilana declared for [[Quandrix College]]. ## Relationships As a new student to [[Strixhaven University]], Tilana was enraptured with the font of knowledge at her fingertips. Determined to learn as much as she could, she made the into her second home. She was not alone, as several of her fellow first years also spent a majority of their downtime in the esteemed library. #### Mina Lee and Rubina Larkingdale Tilana found herself in an odd symbiotic relationship with [[Mina Lee]] and [[Rubina Larkingdale]]. Tilana assisted Mina and Rubina with their studies, acting as a pseudo tutor, a role that brought her great joy. Mina and Rubina provided fashion and makeup advice while supplying beverages and snacks from the [[Biblioplex Café]]. What began as an exchange of services, turned into a real friendship over the first semester of [[Year One]], especially as Tilana began to express interest in her classmate [[Nhillosh]]. Mina and Rubina were actively invested in Tilana's relationship, providing helpful advice and even being friendlier to Nhillosh in passing. Tilana appreciated their support and considers them to be her best friends. #### Nhillosh Tilana first noticed Nhillosh at [[orientation]], when he got into an argument with [[Quintillius Antiphiun Melentor III]]. She found the argument distasteful and the two men to be arrogant. Over the course of the next month, she began to see Nhillosh in a new light. They first spoke in the Biblioplex. He was researching alchemical substances; she was reading about [[Dragonchess]] strategy. He was eager to spar with her on the chessboard, to learn from her. Tilana was more than happy to oblige. She realized she misjudged her [[Vedalken]] classmate. He was confident, inquisitive, and self aware. He understood his limits and sought to improve them. Their relationship and trust grew as Year One continued. He would attend her silkball games. She would study with him in the library. As the dangers of the [[Phyrexian Oil]] grew on campus, she became instrumental in assisting Nhillosh with research into [[Phyrexia]]. In an attempted expression of her growing feelings for Nhillosh, she left a letter for him in a library book she gifted to him. It took him a long time to actually read the book, but following the conclusion of the Year One crisis, he read the letter and the two entered an official relationship. Over summer break, the two continued to correspond via letters. She expressed a desire to visit Nhillosh's plane of [[Ravnica]]. In Year Two their partnership continued to grow as they joined [[S.P.A.R.K. Club]] together. They have now gone on a couple adventures together, both showing that they have each other's backs both emotionally and physically. Nhillosh has saved her from certain death twice now, once during their adventure at the original [[Lorehold]] Campus and a second time when she was captured by the elusive villain [[The Paint Man]]. She has also proven her own prowess in the arcane as an invaluable resource for identifying magical items and creating custom spell scrolls. Nhillosh's importance in her life has grown as she experienced tremendous grief when she believed Nhillosh to have died in the [[Planar Accident]]. #### Zeta Tilana and [[Zeta]] were acquainted during the Year One. With Zeta being one of Nhillosh's friends, it was only a matter of time before the two interacted. Tilana is friendly to Zeta and attempted to strengthen that friendship over the summer, inviting her to visit the Kapule household. The trauma of witnessing the [[Domanaria Incident]] made it difficult for a deeper connection to be made between the two. The two are still amicable during Year Two as they are on the same team for S.P.A.R.K Club. #### Kailyndae Tilana finds [[Kailyndae]] fascinating, and it is this fascination that has led to the friendship she believes she has with the [[Eladrin]] student. Though Tilana has not spent much alone time with Kailyndae, she makes a point to interact with her as much as possible when in a group. As a naturally inquisitive person, Tilana finds Kailyndae's world view enigmatic. She is convinced that Kailyndae is a genius of a caliber she cannot understand. #### L'path Tilana and [[L'path]] are acquainted in Year Two on the silkball field. The two share a friendly rivalry on the field after the [[Quandrix Quantum]] defeated [[Lorehold Legends]] in their first game of the year. Off the field, the two have a mutual respect for each other. #### Larine Arneza Tilana and [[Larine Arneza]] have a tenuous relationship that has been strained from the events of the [[Lorehold Campus Adventure]]. Tilana noticed a change in her Quandrix classmate after the adventure and has been wary of her since. #### Zimone Wola Tilana and [[Zimone Wola]] met as Quandrix classmates in Year Two. As a transfer student from [[Dominaria]], Zimone has not spent much time on campus. Tilana has not been able to get to know the young prodigy well, but after the Planar Accident, she does not hold Zimone in high regard. #### Cadoras Damellawar Tilana and [[Cadoras Damellawar]] are acquaintances. They both declared for Quandrix but Tilana has rarely interacted with him. This could partially be due to the tension between Cadoras and Nhillosh. #### Zanther Bowen Tilana met [[Zanther Bowen]] at orientation, and they hit it off immediately. Tilana found Zanther naturally charming and quickly began attending social gatherings that he organized. Quickly into Year One, Tilana became aware that Zanther was interested in her. She entertained the idea and agreed to go out with him. Ultimately, after their date, she found conversation with him to be bland and unsatisfying. Though she bears no ill-will towards him, she has not said more than a few words to him since. #### Aurora Luna Wynterstarr Tilana met [[Aurora Luna Wynterstarr]] at orientation and their personalities could not be more different. They did not really interact during Year One as a result. However, during the introduction to S.P.A.R.K Club, Tilana was grouped with the young rockstar and a friendship blossomed from there. Aurora began to confide in Tilana and requested that Tilana teach her illusion magic. Tilana became aware of Aurora's real identity, but was sworn to secrecy, not even divulging the information to Nhillosh. Tilana considers Aurora to be a very good friend. #### Quintorius Kand Tilana was introduced to [[Quintorius Kand]] along with the other [[Dominaria Refugees]] at the start of Year Two. She found him friendly, if not a bit awkward. She accompanied Quint and [[The Party]] on their expedition of the [[Lost Tomb of the Loxodon Octet]]. The expedition went by smoothly and she attributes some of that to Quint's resourcefulness. She has respect for his archeological and anthropological expertise.
